meet the founders
Melo started in the kitchen somewhere between a second glass of wine and a third toddler tantrum. As two women balancing careers, kids, and cortisol spikes, we wanted something that took the edge off without taking us out.
Nothing hit the mark. So we made our own.
Melo is the drink we couldn’t find: something that actually works, tastes amazing, and fits real life.
We still have loud households and full inboxes, but now we’ve got calm in a can, and we’re so glad to share it with you.

Melo is a sparkling, non-alcoholic beverage infused with kava, a natural root from the South Pacific used for centuries to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and support connection.
Traditionally, kava is strong and earthy (read: not exactly delicious). But we’ve transformed the taste. Crisp, clean, and seriously sip-worthy, Melo is proof that a calming drink can taste as good as it feels.
You’ll feel Melo working in 10–15 minutes. It’s subtle but undeniable. Less tension, more clarity, a gentle exhale for your nervous system.

where we come from
We take calm seriously starting at the root.
Our kava is sourced from family-run farms in Vanuatu, where it’s been grown and shared in ceremony for generations. We work directly with our growers and with global partners (including the United Nations & International Trade Centre) to support ethical sourcing and sustainable trade.
Every can of Melo is made with intention, connection, and a whole lot of chill.
why we made it
Because the options were either hangovers or herbal teas—and neither felt right.
We wanted something functional, delicious, and made for the way we actually live. Less overwhelm, more ease.
